Band Saw Operative Urgently Required
Temporary To Permanent Position
Monday to Thursday £14.50 per hour
Plus Friday overtime £21.75 per hour
Our client is looking for a Band Saw Operative to join their professional production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Band Saw machinery to cut materials accurately and safely, as well as assisting with labouring, and Fork Lift Driving duties.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating a Horizontal Band Saw and other cutting machinery to required specifications

Reading and interpreting measurements and work orders

Ensuring accuracy and quality of finished products

Loading and unloading materials using a Fork Lift Truck

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

Labouring duties as and when required
Requirements:
-
Previous experience as a Band Saw Operative in an Engineering /Production environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Good awareness of health & safety procedures

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Experience of Fork Lift Truck driving
