Temporary Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative (Sickness Cover) – Immediate Start
Exeter (EX2)
We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team on a temporary contract covering sickness, with an immediate start available.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
- Every other Saturday (2 per month): 08:00 – 12:00
- Paid for 40 hours one week and 44 hours the following week
Pay
- £12.71 per hour
- Weekly pay – every Friday
The Role
This is a varied role combining delivery driving and warehouse duties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering car parts to local garages, including items such as brake pads, brake discs, nuts, bolts, mirrors, fluids and batteries
- Completing delivery routes safely and efficiently
- Returning to site after deliveries to assist in the warehouse
- Picking and packing orders
- Scanning and sorting stock
- Processing returned items
- General warehouse support as required
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Good reliability and timekeeping
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
