Van Driver / Warehouse Operative – Barking (IG11)
We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy automotive parts distributor based in Barking (IG11). This is a full-time, ongoing position offering consistent hours and weekly pay.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 15:00
Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00 (4 hours)
Pay
£12.71 per hour
Weekly pay – every Friday
Role Responsibilities
Your role will involve a mix of delivery driving and warehouse duties.
Driving Duties
Delivering car parts to local garages and automotive businesses
Items include brake pads, brake discs, nuts, bolts, mirrors, fluids and batteries
Completing local delivery routes in a company van
Providing friendly and professional service to customers
Warehouse Duties (after deliveries are completed)
Picking and packing orders
Scanning products and updating stock systems
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving stock around the warehouse
Sorting and processing returned items
General warehouse organisation
Requirements
Full UK driving licence (no major endorsements)
Good reliability and timekeeping
Ability to perform manual handling tasks
Previous van driving or warehouse experience preferred but not essential
