What do you do at Venatu?

As Training Manager, I deliver both induction training to new members of staff as well as any other training to support existing team members. For example, it could be time management and mind-set, sales, advertising etc.

What did you do before Venatu?

I spent my whole 39 year career working in financial services latterly managing teams as a Branch Manager and Area Manager but before that I worked in customer service, admin, sales, collections, insurance, operations. My role was to train, coach and manage a team to achieve a set of objectives, so training has always been at the heart of everything I have done.

What do you do outside of Venatu?

Myself and my husband David are passionate about food and love to cook and entertain. Nobody ever leaves our house hungry or sober and we are renowned for our parties. I love interior design and have recently been renovating our bathroom and kitchen. David has built a beautiful bar in our garden this year and I have decorated and furnished it in colonial style with exotic wallpaper, crystal chandeliers and huge guilt mirrors. Under normal circumstances, we love to travel, and our happy place is India where the people are humble and welcoming. The climate is wonderful, and the food is exquisite. I have recently qualified as a funeral celebrant something that I will do once I retire as I feel it provides an invaluable service for the bereaved enabling them to give their loved ones the send-off, they deserve.
