Responsibilities

• Transactional processing:
• Ensuring transactions relating to AP and AR are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure payment runs to vendors are processed accurately, and cash is collected from customers within agreed terms.
• Ensure that customer trade agreements are accurate and up to date.
• Ensure that AX integrity is maintained.

Compliance:

• Ensure transactions are processed according to IFRS and ABF policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and challenge to the business in matters that concern: anti-bribery; and ABF Red Book requirements.
• Ensure internal audit points are swiftly addressed.
• Ensure tax compliance and provisioning for: PAYE; VAT; corporation tax; and other related levies is timely and accurate.
• Ensure the balance sheet is fully reconciled each month.
• Help Head of Finance manage the internal and external audit processes.
• Monitor, provide transparency, and plan the businesses liquidity requirements.
• Preparation of the statutory accounts including filing with Companies House and tagging with HMRC.
• Preparation of the month end and year-end financial results.
• Preparation and oversight of appropriate provisions; accruals and prepayments.
• Inventory assessment.
• Accurately report and account for fixed assets and depreciation.

Reporting:

• Preparation of Group packs for month end; year-end; forecast; and budget.
• Preparation and presentation of reports to local management and the UK&I FD as required.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Working alongside the FP&A Analyst, prepare budgets and forecasts.

Projects:

• Participate and support project work as and when required.
• Help support the AX upgrade (v.4 to 2012) providing input to process design, testing and implementation.
