HR Administrator

Venatu has the pleasure to recruit for HR Administrator for our well-established building and offsite construction specialists located in Brandesburton,

  • Accurately collate all payroll documents for the issue to an outsourced payroll company, resolving any issues that arise
  • Check and authorize final reports from the outsourced payroll company
  • Co-ordinate and keep track of all variations to pay, including overtime, and expenses, etc
  • Accurately input salary and expenses data into the online banking system for authorization
  • Ensure any post payroll payments are made in an accurate and timely manner
  • Provide HR advice and support to managers for formal meetings i.e., disciplinary, grievance, and capability meetings inclusive of notetaking
  • Monitor attendance, including short-term sickness, and regularly review trends and trigger points with Production
  • Manage and process new starters and leavers ensuring that all starter, leaver, and variations are updated in time for payroll cut-off
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts, and variations to contracts
  • Monitor FTC expiries and administer extensions where necessary
  • Prepare reference checks, leaver letters, and all other associated documents required in the employment cycle
  • Assist with HR projects and general administration duties as and when required
  • Collate data required for HR reporting
  • Support and set-up pensions
  • Time and Attendance reporting and data
  • Maintain accurate HR, holiday, and sickness records
  • ALD and hire car administration
  • Raise purchase orders on the Oracle system
  • Ad hoc tasks and reporting as requested


  • Experience, Qualifications & Training:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound numeracy and literacy skills
  • PC Literate including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook – Intermediate/Advanced,
  • Preferred knowledge of Oracle, SharePoint, Sage 50 HR
  • GCSE Mathematics – Level 4 (C) or Above
  • GCSE English Level 4 (C) or Above
  • Formal Human Resource qualification – Level 3/5 CIPD in HRM or working towards
  • Experience in a similar role desirable must have at least 12 months payroll experience
