Key Account Manager

Responsibilities

  • To develop and implement long term strategies in order to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Working with other teams to develop new routes to market
  • Seek new business opportunities with Independents and Distributors
  • Provide and update sales forecasts
  • Maintain stock levels, price lists and product information
  • Keep up to date with market awareness and new products
  • Responsible for aged debt within your customer base
  • Work closely with other teams including Logistics and Finance
  • Attend Trade Shows

Candidate Expectations

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience of working at Key Account Management level is essential – this can include a Field Sales role where you have managed a customer base of Independents and Distributors
  • Excellent interpersonal teams and have proven ability of working with KPI’s, targets and with budget responsibility
  • Strong analytical skills combined with attention to detail and confident IT skills
  • Results focus
  • Team focused
  • Office based – 2 days per week
