£35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
Monday to Thursday 9am to3:30pm, Friday 9am to 12:30pm – 37.5 hours per week

Our award winning manufacturing client are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team in Poole. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global company who are introducing new products and continuously upgrading their existing products

What will the Continous Improvement Engineer be doing?
- Keeping down time and line cut off to a minimum
- Lead the introduction of new products
- Participate in cost reduction exercises and introduce new processes, techniques and tooling
- Provide training
- Analyse and plan workflow, space requirements and equipment placement to maximise manufacturing efficiency
- Basic electrical knowledge for wiring and routing
What we are looking for in the Continuous Improvement Engineer?
- Strong mechanical assembly experience
- HNC/Degree in Mechanical engineering
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Basic electrical knowledge
- 2D/3D Solidworks or Inventor experience is desired
- Working knowledge of Lean of Six Sigma is desired
