Business Development Manager
£30,000 - £38,000 DOE
Company Car + 20% Bonus
The purpose of this vacancy is to maximize sales revenue within the designated area.
The territory has an existing customer account base, and the expectations will be to work 50% on Account Management and 50% on Generating new business opportunities.
Duties include:
- You will be working towards an annual sales target by forging successful relationships with customers to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintains knowledge of competitors
- Ensures up-to-date knowledge of local customer base and market trends and conditions
- Setting plans in place and initiating those plans regarding the future growth of the area
- To ensure customers receive a high level of service
- Good administration and record keeping maximising efficiency and service and minimise errors and credit notes
- Following through on all opportunities to build a strong pipeline of potential business
- Establishing strong sustainable business relationships with customers in the designated area
- Conduct product training and joint end-user calls as and when appropriate
- Advise on POS solutions in-store locations, fit and merchandise
- Good communication with the manager, customers, and internal support team
- To seek and open new quality accounts
Experience required/Desired
- Proven record of field and account management and business development experience
- Extensive experience and understanding of corporate, industrial clothing, and workwear markets
- Knowledge of corporate/PPE/workwear wholesale and distribution markets
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Organised and able to manage own workload
- Self-motivated
