Insurance Broker
Location: WF5
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + Bonus

We’re looking for an experienced Insurance Brokerto join our clients growing team in the WF5 area.
As the team grows, they are also looking to expand into new market sectors. This role is to develop the agricultural market.
Ideally with a presence and understanding of this market, you’ll manage commercial insurance accounts across new business, renewals, MTAs and claims, delivering excellent client service while ensuring full FCA compliance. You’ll build strong relationships with clients and insurers, provide expert advice, and support Account Executives where required.
Key responsibilities
- Handle new business, renewals, MTAs, claims and client queries
- Deliver exceptional customer service and tailored insurance advice
- Re-broke renewal business to secure the most suitable cover
- Maintain accurate records and complete all administration to FCA standards
- Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company procedures
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a commercial insurance broking/handling role
- Strong knowledge of FCA compliance
- Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills (Acturis/Open GI and Microsoft preferred)
- Willingness to work towards Cert CII
Desirable: multi-class experience, strong Acturis knowledge, Cert CII/DIP CII, and proven negotiation skills.
