Warehouse Operative / Van Driver

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION FOR A PERIOD OF 4 WEEKS

We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with van driving responsibilities to join our growing team. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines warehouse operations with local deliveries, ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This position is split between warehouse duties and customer deliveries:

• 75% Warehouse-based work
• 25% Driving and deliveries

No two days are exactly the same — you’ll be an important part of keeping stock moving efficiently while also ensuring customers receive their orders on time and in great condition.

Key Responsibilities

      Warehouse Duties:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately

• Scanning and labelling stock using warehouse systems

• Wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch

• Loading and unloading deliveries

• Conducting stock counts and inventory checks

• Sorting damaged goods and processing returns

• Organising products into correct bays and locations

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment

      Delivery Duties:

• Driving a company van to deliver customer orders to local garages and trade customers

• Safely loading and unloading vehicle

• Handling car parts and automotive products including:

  • Brake pads and discs

  • Nuts, bolts and fittings

  • Interior/exterior mirrors

  • Wipers and accessories

  • Fluids and oils

  • Batteries and other vehicle essentials

• Providing friendly and professional customer service

• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
  
  

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:30 (1 hour unpaid break)

• Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00

• Consistent, full-time hours with overtime opportunities
  
  

Pay & Benefits

• £12.21 per hour

• Weekly pay every Friday

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Good reliability and timekeeping

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Previous warehouse or delivery experience is beneficial but not required
