Job Title: Van Driver
Location: Colchester
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our team in Colchester. This role is primarily focused on delivery driving, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road while still supporting warehouse operations as part of a team.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 14:30 – 22:30
Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00 (2 Saturdays per month)
40 hours one week / 44 hours the following week
Pay
£12.21 per hour
Weekly pay every Friday
Role Responsibilities
- Delivering car parts to local garages and business units using a company van
- Items include brake pads/discs, nuts & bolts, mirrors, bulbs, fluids and batteries
- Providing access (keys) to secure lockers and placing orders safely where required
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently
- Planning routes and managing delivery schedules
Warehouse Duties
Before going out on each shift, you will assist with:
- Picking and preparing orders for delivery
- Loading the van efficiently and safely
- Basic warehouse organisation and stock handling
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Good reliability and timekeeping
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery routes
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
