MIG Welder (Stick Welding Desirable) – Working Away Role
Location: Company based in Scunthorpe, working away in Stoke (with regular working away Monday–Thursday)
We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our client's growing and reputable engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder who is comfortable working away during the week and looking for consistent hours with competitive pay and benefits.
The Role of a MIG Welder:
- MIG welding (primary responsibility)
- Stick welding experience desirable
- Working away Monday to Thursday
- Travel time paid daily
- Standard 9-hour working day (plus travel time)
What We Offer:
- £16.50 per hour
- 10% working away allowance
- Overtime rates:38-hour standard working week
- x1.5 after 9 hours
- x1.75 after 10 hours
- Air B&B accommodation provided
- Company van supplied
Requirements of a MIG Welder:
- Proven experience in MIG welding
- Stick welding skills (preferred but not essential)
- Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Willingness to work away Monday–Thursday
Interview Process:
- Practical weld test
- Licence check
