About the Role
A growing engineering and installation business is seeking a Site Installer to join its team due to increasing demand and a full project pipeline. This is a hands-on role working on-site as part of an experienced installation team based in Barnsley and covering nationwide sites, delivering a range of projects from small, single-day jobs to larger, long-term installations.
The position offers the opportunity to work closely with skilled professionals and develop within the role, with progression available for the right candidate into a lead installer position.
Key Responsibilities of a Site Installer
- Installation of LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems on-site
- Fitting extraction filters, fan sets, ducting, and structural steelwork
- Working from engineering drawings
- Supporting the team to complete installations safely and efficiently
Skills & Experience of a Site Installer
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competent with hand and power tools
- Experience with structural steelwork or mechanical installations
- Knowledge of bracketry and pipework installation
- Safe lifting, slinging, and handling practices
- Understanding of site safety and CDM regulations

Requirements of a Site Installer
- Must be 18 years or older
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight when required
Desirable (Training can be provided)
- CSCS Card
- IPAF Licence
- PASMA Card
- Confined Spaces Training
