Warehouse Operative / Driver – Southampton
Location: Southampton
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
- Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00
Pay: Weekly pay every Friday
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with Driving Duties to join a busy automotive parts distributor based in Southampton.
This is primarily a warehouse role, with occasional delivery driving required to cover staff holidays and sickness. A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this position.
Duties Include:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Scanning and labelling stock
- Wrapping and preparing bulk items for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Completing local deliveries when required
Products Handled:
You will be working with a range of automotive parts and products, including:
- Brake pads and brake discs
- Nuts, bolts and vehicle components
- Oils, fluids and lubricants
- Vehicle batteries, from motorcycles through to lorries and tractors
Candidate Requirements:
- Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
