Solderer / Electronic Components Operative
Location: Marine Rescue Technology (Wescom Group), Springfield Way, Anlaby, Hull, HU10 6RJ
We are currently looking for Solderers to join the team at Marine Rescue Technology.
The role involves soldering and working with electrical and electronic components, including circuit boards. This is detailed, intricate work involving small components, so good hand skills, patience and excellent attention to detail are essential.
Previous soldering experience is highly desirable.
Quality checking will also form part of the role, including inspecting electronic parts and devices. This responsibility will be introduced as you become more experienced and, if taken on permanently, will become an important part of the position.
Hours of Work:
- Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Usually an early finish on Fridays at around 3:00pm, although this is not contractual
- 15-minute paid morning and afternoon breaks
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Pay:
- £12.95 per hour
- Equivalent annual salary: £26,943.93
PPE:
- Safety boots ideally required
- All other PPE will be provided
