Van / Compound Driver – Leeds
Location: Leeds
Working Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday Only , 08:30–18:00
Pay Rate: From £12.71 per hour
Pay Frequency: Weekly, every Friday
The Role
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Van / Compound Driver to join our team in Leeds. Would suit semi-retired driver due to it only been three days a week.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of new and used vehicles around the compound, with occasional vehicle deliveries and collections within the local area.
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working independently while also being part of a supportive team. The role may also be well suited to a semi-retired driver looking for a reliable part-time opportunity.
As you will be handling high-value vehicles, attention to detail, responsibility and a professional appearance are essential. The role may also involve face-to-face vehicle deliveries, so a smart and presentable appearance is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Moving new and used vehicles safely around the compound.
- Carrying out local vehicle deliveries and collections when required.
- Ensuring vehicles are handled with care and professionalism.
- Completing tasks efficiently and maintaining good timekeeping.
- Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous car driving experience is essential.
- A reliable, responsible and professional approach to work.
- Good timekeeping and attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Smart and presentable appearance.
- Previous compound experience is beneficial but not essential.
