Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Colchester, CO4
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Pay Frequency: Weekly – every Friday
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team in Colchester.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving and deliveries with warehouse duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of automotive parts and products to local garages, as well as supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Delivery Duties
You will be delivering automotive parts to garages, including:
- Brake pads and brake discs
- Nuts, bolts and fittings
- Starter motors
- Wiper blades
- Springs
- Automotive fluids
- Batteries
- Other vehicle parts and accessories
Warehouse Duties
When not out on deliveries, your duties will include:
- Picking and packing orders
- Scanning stock
- Wrapping bulk items
- Sorting new stock into racking
- Labelling products
- Sorting and processing returned items
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: Start time between 07:00 and 08:30
Every other Saturday: 08:00–12:00 (4 hours)
About You
We are looking for reliable, hardworking candidates who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
You must be:
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Happy to be on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit for the demands of the role
- Comfortable carrying out both driving and warehouse duties
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Driving Requirements
A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this role.
For insurance purposes, applicants must:
- Be 22 years of age or over
- Have no more than 6 points on their driving licence
- Have no DR, IN or TT endorsements
