Warehouse Operative – Temporary Position
Location: Reading, RG6
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Start Date: Immediate start
Hours: Monday to Friday + every other Saturday, 8:00am–12:00pm
Contract: Temporary – currently running until 2nd November, with potential for extension
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team on a temporary basis, supporting the relocation of stock from our current warehouse to our new premises.
The new warehouse is located just two units away, so this is a short-distance move. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, organised and able to hit the ground running.
Key Duties:
- Moving stock between the current and new warehouse
- Handling car parts, boxes, totes and pallets
- Sorting and organising stock
- Putting stock away into racking and designated bays
- Cleaning and maintaining warehouse areas
- General warehouse duties and manual handling
- Supporting the team throughout the warehouse move
About You:
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and organisation skills
- A hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in
