Role Responsibilities of a Polisher / Glazer
- Glaze and polish parts in conjunction with the production schedule, complying with appropriate Quality Management System (QMS) and Health and Safety requirements.
- Highlight products that do not meet quality standards by raising the appropriate non-conformance report, accurately maintain all records and documentation, notify the appropriate person(s) when problems are encountered.
- Ensure that the work area is maintained to a high standard of housekeeping and all equipment is maintained to a good and safe working condition.
- To be flexible and willing to learn new skills
Requirements of a Polisher / Glazer
- Must be methodical, accurate and precise with a keen eye for detail.
- Computer literate.
- Able to follow work instructions.
- Proven skills, competency and ability to successfully undertake the requirements of the position.
- Have a passion for producing quality product.
- A good communicator and well organised.
- Able to develop job knowledge and expertise through continual personal development.
- A team player who works well with others.
- Shares expertise and knowledge with others.
Hours of Work
- Days / Afters Shift Pattern with Early Finish Fridays OR Days Only (salary is dependent on which shift pattern).
