They specialise, and are leading figures, in ing providindustry leading advice, training and technical expertise that is especially formulated to make our customers’ lives easier and safer with over 20 years experience working with fire safety regulations!They have been at the forefront of the industry and pride themselves on being the best in the business demonstrated by sterling track record and being the industries go-to for Data Centre Fire Suppression! Due to their consistent growth, they're now looking for a Fire Extingguisher Service Technician to join them as soon as possible!
This is permanent position paying £26k - £29k + Company Van + 2 different monthly bonuses!
Job Duties include:
- To ensure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer and the company (BS5306 Pt 3:2017 & ISO 9001:2015))
- To consistently achieve agreed performance targets
- To maintain fire extinguishers, hose reels and any other equipment on service contracts as required
- To ensure the safe delivery of equipment to the customer within the agreed timescales
- To sell and promote all of Fire-rite’s services to new and existing customers
- To keep the Operations and Systems Managers up to date on progress or potential delays
- To service works to monthly schedules, also to attend call outs on a rota system at all times
- To undertake surveys and provide quotations for customers
- To install new and service existing systems
- To maintain cleanliness of provided vehicle
- To adhere to the company’s quality procedures in all aspects of the job
- To be ‘on call’ out of hours on a rota system
- To plan and organise customer visits to agreed schedules
The type of candidate they're looking for:
- To provide an efficient and effective service to customers in all aspects of sales and servicing of fire extinguishers, hose reels etc
- To work as part of a team
- To contribute to the development and success of the company
- To act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirements
Highly Desirable and Advantageous:
- Relevant project experince or engineering qualifications.
- Knowledge of fire safety systems, building regulations, and industry best practices.
- Data Centre Experience!
