Monday to Friday 38.25hrs per week
£45,000 to £50,000 plus company vehicle.

Health & Safety Advisor (Construction – Site Based, Nationwide)
Reporting to: QESH Manager
Job Purpose:
We’re looking for a confident and independent Health & Safety Advisor to act as the main safety lead on our construction and installation sites across the UK.
This role is fully site-focused, with a remote base, and requires nationwide travel to ensure that our health, safety, and quality standards are upheld and continuously improved. You will be on the road frequently and will be required to lodge away at times.
Reporting to the QESH Manager, you’ll be responsible for conducting site inspections, supporting RAMS, leading investigations, and supporting the management of non-conformances related to both safety and quality. You will be based ideally in the Midlands and able to travel across the UK, many projects are based in the London area.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Carry out regular site safety inspections at client locations nationwide
• Review and advise on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for live and upcoming projects
• Attend and lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and safety breaches, reporting findings and corrective actions
• Act as the point of contact for all site-based health, safety, and quality matters
• Engage with site teams and clients to promote a strong, positive safety culture
• Deliver on-site coaching, safety briefings, and toolbox talks where needed
• Identify and report on quality-based non-conformances (NCRs), and support site teams in closing them out
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, NCRs, findings, and actions
• Report directly into the QESH Manager and keep them informed of site status, risks, and trends
Qualifications/Experience required
Essential:
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
• Valid CSCS Card (AQP or PQP level)
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience working in construction or industrial installation environments
• Comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays across the UK
• Strong knowledge of RAMS, safe systems of work, and accident investigation
• Practical experience supporting ISO 9001 quality systems on site
• Ability to identify, raise, and follow through on quality-based NCRs
• Able to work independently and confidently represent the company on client sites
Desirable:
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• TechIOSH or working toward
• Awareness of CDM 2015 regulations
• Experience with ISO 45001 and integrated QESH systems
• First Aid at Work
