Yard Operative – Huddersfield (HD1)
£12.21 per hour | Weekly Pay | Monday to Friday
We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Yard Operative to join a busy timber merchants in Huddersfield.
Pay & Hours
- £12.21 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 17:00 (No weekends!)
Role includes:
- Loading and unloading timber and other building materials
- Preparing customer orders for collection or delivery
- Operating yard equipment safely (training provided if needed)
- Keeping the yard organised, clean, and safe
- Working as part of a friendly, supportive team
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment preferred
- Counterbalance licence required.
- Driving licence required.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
