Job Title: Weekend Warehouse Cleaning Supervisor
Location: Castleford, WF10
Salary: £15.21 per hour
Contract Type: Part-time (Temp – Perm)
Working Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 6:00am – 4:00pm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a reliable and hands-on Weekend Warehouse Cleaning Supervisor to join a busy warehouse operation on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a working supervisor role where you will manage a small cleaning team while also completing cleaning duties yourself.
You will play a key role in ensuring machinery and work areas are cleaned to the required standards, while making sure the team understand their responsibilities and carry out tasks correctly.
Key Responsibilities of working as a Weekend Warehouse Cleaning Supervisor
- Supervise and manage a team of up to 8 cleaning operatives
- Work alongside the team, completing cleaning duties during shifts
- Clean warehouse machinery and equipment to required standards
- Ensure all team members understand their duties and follow procedures
- Allocate tasks and monitor performance throughout the shift
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Report any issues, faults, or staffing concerns to management
- Be fully accountable for attendance, punctuality, and shift coverage
Skills and Experience for working as a Weekend Warehouse Cleaning Supervisor
- Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial cleaning environment
- Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
- Hands-on, proactive approach to work
- Ability to lead, motivate, and organise a team
- Strong understanding of cleaning standards and safe working practices
