About the role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop operation covering Durham and the surrounding areas. This role involves carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and roadworthiness standards. It would suit a qualified Vehicle Technician who is confident working independently, enjoys hands on technical work and is looking for consistent weekday hours with competitive hourly pay on monthly contracts.
Key responsibilities
Identifying, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and system faults across a variety of vehicles.
Inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure reliability and roadworthiness.
Completing job cards, maintenance records and associated paperwork accurately and clearly.
Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
Supporting general workshop duties as required to assist the wider team.
Skills and experience required
Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
