Location: Wakefield
Hours: Nights, Monday to Thursday, 6pm – 6am
Rate: £16 - 18.50 + 25% night rate uplift
Our Client is seeking a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter Operator to set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components to varying tolerances. The role offers interesting and varied work.
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Turner:

Operate and program CNC lathes HAAS Lathes
-
Produce components in accordance with drawing specifications
-
Maintain a clean and organised workspace
-
Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
-
Minimum Level 2/3 Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent (desirable)
Key Skills & Abilities of a CNC Turner:

Competent and confident in setting, programming, and operating CNC HAAS lathes

Able to use relevant inspection and measuring equipment
-
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
-
Produce components within specified tolerances
-
General awareness of health and safety requirements
-
Team player with the ability to work independently

Strong attention to detail
