We are urgently recruiting experienced Semi Skilled Modular Joiners for a large ongoing refurbishment project in Driffield. We are looking for reliable and Semi Skilled Modular Joiners for a forward-thinking offsite modular construction company offering ongoing work and competitive rates.
This is an excellent opportunity for Semi Skilled Modular Joiners to join that at present are offering continous work with overtime potential and consistent hours.
About the Role
As a Semi Skilled Modular Joiner you will be working within a modern, fast-paced factory environment stripping and refurbishing modular units to a high specification. Most of the work completed is undercover.
Main Duties Include:
- Partitioning and cladding
- Reading and interpreting joinery construction drawings
- Erecting and marking up stud timber walls
- Stripping and replacing floors
- 1st and 2nd fix joinery
- Plaster boarding and general boarding
- Window and door fitting
Requirements
- Proven 1st fix joinery experience
- A construction background
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
- Strong team player who can also work independently
- Modular construction experience desirable
- Punctual, reliable, and hardworking
- Basic joinery tools and PPE essential
- Experience with panelling and sectioning
