Powder Coater
Location: HX2, Halifax
Pay Rate: £15.22 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday (No weekend work)
Venatu Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join our client’s team in HX2, Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Powder Coater, Industrial Painter, or Paint Sprayer looking for a stable, long-term role within a busy manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing steel products to a high standard, ensuring quality, consistency, and attention to detail throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing steel products for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and surface preparation
- Operating powder coating equipment safely and efficiently
- Applying powder coatings evenly to steel components and finished products
- Loading and unloading parts onto coating lines, racks, and production areas
- Monitoring curing ovens to ensure correct temperature settings and finish quality
- Inspecting completed products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Carrying out visual quality checks and reporting any issues or defects
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider production team when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Powder Coater, Powder Coating Operative, Industrial Painter, Spray Painter, or similar role
- Experience working with steel products, fabrication, or metal finishing environments is preferred
- Knowledge of preparation and finishing processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and positive approach to work
