Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver
Location: Maidstone, ME15
£12.71 per hour | Weekly Pay – Every Friday
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to join our team in Maidstone.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll spend your mornings working in the warehouse before heading out on the road in the afternoon delivering car parts to local garages.
Morning – Warehouse Duties
Your morning will involve a range of warehouse and manual handling tasks, including:
- Picking and packing car parts
- Scanning stock and preparing orders
- Loading and unloading vans and lorries
- Wrapping and preparing bulk items
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Using a pump truck
- Sorting stock into the correct bays and racking
- General warehouse housekeeping and organisation
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
The products you'll be handling include car parts, nuts and bolts, mirrors, windscreen wipers, fluids, batteries and other automotive products.
Afternoon – Delivery Driving
In the afternoon, you'll head out on deliveries, taking car parts to garages and customers in the local area.
You'll need to be comfortable with driving, loading and unloading your vehicle, and providing a reliable and professional service to customers.
