HGV Technician
Salary: Up to £56,160 per annum
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6am–6pm OR 6pm–6am
Location: Daventry
Contract: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Daventry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a 4-day working week, with the option of either day or night shifts and excellent overtime opportunities.
The Role
- As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a range of HGVs and trailers.
- Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on HGVs and trailers
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements
- Working as part of a professional and supportive workshop team
- Completing relevant paperwork and maintenance records
The Shifts
- You can choose between:
- Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6am–6pm
- Night Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6pm–6am

About You
- We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician who has a strong mechanical background and is confident working on commercial vehicles.
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician / LGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Experience working on HGVs and/or trailers
- Good mechanical and diagnostic skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
