Construction Contracts Administrator

My client based in Huddersfield are a recognised international manufacturing leader within their field who are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their Head Office function.

The hire of a Construction Contracts Coordinator is a brand-new role that will see you enhancing their existing division and of offering long term career advancement.

Reporting directly to the Divisional Manager this role will see you having overall responsibility for all contract-based administration including liaison with Subcontractors and Teams regarding installations, site planning for Materials required and for quoting. Applications desired will come ideally come from within industry Construction or Civils however open to taking your skills and experiences into a growing industry.

  • You will have a confident understanding of Construction Contract Terms and Conditions (including Legal Requirements), Risk Awareness for site and Health & Safety implications.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential as the role will warrant some travel
  • Able to read drawings and specifications
  • Document control
  • A CSCS card holder would be welcomed but not essential when applying.


  • The full coordination of Installation contracts
  • Telephone liaison with Subcontractors and teams regarding installation
  • Oversea material planning activities and delivery dates, considering any equipment required (Site Cranes)
  • Liaise with both Suppliers and Logistics teams to ensure Installation projects are being fully adhered to against key deadlines
  • Read and understand Technical/ Construction drawings and specifications
  • Obtain Costs and provide Estimates/ Prices for Installations
  • Provide Quotations for work
  • Maintain Costs for each Installation
  • Ensure Quality Standards / Health and Safety are always complied with
  • Work in Compliance with Company’s QA, H & S, ISO Systems/ Procedures, and relevant regulatory laws
