Internal Sales Executive

The Company

  • One of the market leaders in their products and service that have grown every year since the conception over 30 years ago. The business has plans to keep growing into new markets. You will be working for a company that has a strong work ethic but prides itself on that family feel where everyone pulls together. The team is a small unit of 6 although the business has 63 staff in total.

The role/requirements

  • The business requires the ideal candidate to have experience in construction working with architects, designers, and buyers. You must understand drawings. A salesperson with specification sales would have a distinct advantage. The role requires occasional visits to customers offering a solution and consultive sales approach. You will be given your own budget and have the experience to achieve this. Full training will be given on the products and existing companies, you will, however, be required to prospect new opportunities. The business uses Glenigan for projects and you will take the lead on following the project from concept to completion.

Experience required/desired.

  • Specification/Internal sales experience with a business in the construction market.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and proactively contact clients by telephone.
  • Fully understand the importance of responding to client needs by building and maintain relationships and providing excellent customer service.
  • Gain competitor’s knowledge
  • Follow quotations, sales leads, and spot opportunities making use of their lead system
  • Sales order processing experience
  • Continually seek opportunities to improve customer service
  • Negotiating supplier pricing and order relevant stock

  • OTE £40,000 on all sales

Hours of Work

  • 8.30 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
