The Position

Venatu Recruitment Group is recruiting Joiners to join a multi-million-pound Modular business based in the Derbyshire area.

Hours

• 07:30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Thursday
• 07:30 am to 2.30pm Fridays

Overtime

• After 7.25 hours worked per days Time and a Third
• Saturdays Time and a Half
• Sundays Double Time

Main Duties For The Joiner Position

• 1st and 2nd Fix Joinery
• Hanging Doors
• Flooring and Roof Panels
• Carpentry - Not Essential
• Making Timber Frames
• Cutting and Shaping Wood
• Construction of Timber Walls
• Fitting Architraves
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation

Joiner Qualifications and Essential Skills

• Ideally, Time Served
• Manual Dexterity
• Experience in any of the following Floors, Windows or Doors
• Quick Learner
• High Level of Accuracy
• Works efficiently as part of a team
• Creative and a good eye for design
• Minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Joinery
