    My client based in Elland are a UK leading manufacturer of Electrical based products for both UK and International customers. Having witnessed significant growth throughout the International Market and of being awarded exclusive contracts with UK based customers they seek to add to their team a Key Account Manager who will be responsible for maintaining relations with existing accounts, identifying opportunity to grow these customers and of developing new business opportunity through effective customer service and marketing initiatives.

Operating through a network of International distributors and direct to UK customers, this opportunity will see you working for a forward-thinking employer who are looking to expand their workforce with the hire of several roles throughout key business areas.

This NEW opportunity would suit someone who has experience of working in a sales/service driven role where you have worked with a Technical or Manufactured to specification product.

You will be able to forge relationships with teams around you and be driven by increasing profit opportunity for this leading brand.

  • Drive new sales opportunity whilst account managing existing customers.
  • Generate new business whilst looking to grow existing accounts.
  • Improve customer retention rates.
  • Ensure customer relations always stay in place with all Accounts and New Business opportunity
  • Play an active role at all sales meetings.
  • Be willing to visit customers on occasion with external sales team.
  • Understand gaps and trends in the marketplace and implement strategy to identify and develop business with new potential customers.
  • Follow up on all outstanding quotes/proforma invoices.
  • Take ownership of any customer enquiries/ issues (feeding back to internal departments)
  • Work with internal departments to identify new customers.
  • Assist with Sales appointments – currently conducted by Zoom or Teams.


  • Able to confidently deal with customer enquires with ease.
  • Develop and display a sound understanding of navigating the company website/brochure to assist with customer queries.
  • Able to influence with ease if there are any changes that can strengthen the sales process.
  • Promote and maintain a high level of communication across all business departments.
  • Confident to conduct face to face meetings via Zoom or Teams.
  • Team player, however able to work independently and positively to reach business goals and objectives.
  • Full UK Driving licence is required.
