Recruitment Consultant

As a Recruitment Consultant, it is expected that you develop and lead a profitable, efficient, compliant, and professional desk. You will be responsible for the growth and business development through effective sales planning, client development and candidate management.

THE ROLE

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Full management of the recruitment cycle from taking the job specification from the client to the candidates starting employment
  • Focusing on building strong relationships with businesses to understand our clients and their recruitment needs
  • Using a whole variety of means to generate new business
  • Looking after our existing clients to ensure our high levels of repeat business continues
  • Filtering and screening accordingly, gauging interest and gaining candidates approval to be considered for the role and regularly updating candidates on their position within the recruitment process
  • Managing our internal recruitment system and taking ownership for ensuring it is clean, relevant, and easy to use
  • Writing attractive and effective adverts for our website and the various job boards that we subscribe to and posting the adverts via our multi-posting tool
  • Adhering to company compliance, policies, and procedures

CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS

  • Previous recruitment experience is required
  • Excellent negotiation skills, confident in agreeing terms in line with business standards
  • Confident communication skills and able to speak to people at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong administration and compliance skills
  • Extremely motivated with a resilient and positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
  • Highly organised individual with the ability to meet required deadlines
  • Extremely tenacious individually with the ability to go above and beyond in providing the highest levels of service to both client and candidate
