The company formed over 40 years ago and now boast a headcount of over 800 employees. The business has plans to grow further and due to workload increasing now require an additional Sales Account Manager. Due to the importance of this role and workload, this position could be an immediate start.

Role Outline

As the Sales Account Manager, you will support key clients for the company with all orders, enquiries, projects and information they require. You will be the first point of call, becoming their key contact, and building the relationship to gain mutual trust. You will be results focussed and have experience working and managing customers enquiries whilst adhering to strict KPI’s. You will have a proven track record within account management and, have an understanding of how you build relationships to support and keep customers remaining loyal to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop key relationships with designated customer portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain the CRM database accurately and in a timely manner updating the business where necessary.
  • Support the maintenance and development of Customer Account Plans.
  • Generate and monitor account performance KPIs/Dashboard ensuring regular reports are circulated internally and issued to the Customer.
  • Resolving customer-related concerns/complaints and escalating where necessary.
  • Supporting the Relationship Manager to improve the customer engagement position.
  • Communicate new products and services to customers with a view to generate profitable sales.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and provide the Relationship Management Team with market activity feedback.
  • Provide information to the Relationship Manager to enable them to produce the monthly report.

Candidate Expectations

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant environment with proven experience of account management
  • Business retention and sales and growth experience
  • Ability to sell and negotiate with closing and follow-up skills
  • Application of the highest ethical standards in all dealings and transactions
  • Can analysis and present data
  • Takes ownership of problems and initiates solutions
  • IT Literate
