Stock Controller

My client is an international market leader of consumer goods. With future growth plans, they are looking to add a Stock Controller to their Logistics team in Leeds. You will have a Supply Chain, Stock Allocation or a Stock Control background. This is an integral role and will see you participating in weekly planning meetings, ensuring the right stock levels are maintained to reach customer demand. My client pride themselves on service not only to customers, third party logistics but with all teams within their business.

As Supply & Stock Allocation Planner you will hold strong Excel skills stemmed from a similar role therefore confident to work high levels of data to predict, forecast and plan stock levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play an integral part in the weekly planning review meetings, adding value / feeding back to Management
  • Allocation of all inbound stock against orders received. Taking into consideration allocation plans and customer orderbooks
  • Track the inbound order progress, highlighting any instances that can possibly cause risk in achieving the monthly sales plan
  • Monitoring customer orderbooks to ensure they are aligned with the allocation plans and work with the Logistics Planners to ensure customers receive the right stock
  • Identify gaps within the orderbook and highlight any concerns to not meeting customer demand.
  • Maintain the stock levels in the customer specific allocation via SAP
  • Report available stock to customers as updates

CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS

  • Advanced level of Excel and Microsoft Office required (lookup’s and Pivots essential)
  • Ability to work with large data sets and link data together.
  • Excellent attention to detail, from a fast pace environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Experience of SAP preferred but not essential.
  • Degree holder would be of value when applying but not essential.
