Supply Chain Manager

You will be working for a business that is going through rapid changes in the structure and operations. With a turnover of 17 Million and distribution networks in Romania, China, Russia, and France. The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for managing the products and information flow in order to optimise service level, stocks, and cost. Optimising administrative organisation and interface between the business supplier subsidiaries and sales demand. Optimising logistics organisation in terms of efficiency, quality, safety, and service level.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpreting forecasts into a plan for the customer needs, on a medium-term (year, month, fortnight).
  • Set up and maintain the stock policy in line with the objectives
  • Working with Key customers to improve communication, forecast accuracy, and deliveries
  • Analyse the order book on a daily basis and inform Customer service on delays and rescheduling, manage the demand and define priorities with Sales in case of shortage
  • Support new product launches, phase-in and phase-out of products
  • Develop the stock demand in accordance with the sales forecasts
  • Manage and support the Procurement co-ordinator, set annual objectives, and develop the role to bring better support to the business
  • Develop the performance of the warehouse to ensure the accuracy of the inventory and reduce logistics costs
  • Ensure standards of health and safety are maintained
  • Manage the shipping activity
  • Negotiate and control transport costs

Experience

  • Very good knowledge of process and methodology
  • High Knowledge of ERP Systems like NAV or SAP
  • High skill in Microsoft office (excel and PowerPoint), and BI tools
  • Project Management
  • Knowledge and understanding of important functions in a company
  • Good communication
  • Teamwork skills
