In this role your main responsibilities will be:
-Reprocessing of contaminated medical devices to the required Quality Standard -Operating equipment and machines within the facility. -Ensuring accurate records are maintained in relation to volume and non conformance, stock etc. -Using a computerised Track & Trace system (training will be provided). -Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of self and work environment. -Dismantling and preparing instruments for cleaning and decontamination. -Assemble comprehensive sets of surgical instrument trays and other equipment. -Wrapping sets for sterilisation. -Loading and documenting sterilisation batches. -Ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidance.
Responsibilities at each station include:
-Adhering to strict Health and Safety regulations. -Notifying Team Managers and/or other staff members of any type of hazard. -Ensuring a clean and tidy workspace. -Any other tasks assigned to you by your site manager. -Work closely with staff in other areas of the company. -Establish and maintain effective communication links within the team and other healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have: -Good written and verbal communication with the ability to work in a team environment and independently as required. -Good computer skills are an advantage and candidates must be flexible and adaptable.
