Venatu Recrutment are proud to annouce a leading client of ours with the high-end, steelwork fabrication indstry is now looking for a Plater/Welder to join them at their HQ in Doncaster. The client is a leading provider of high-quality steelwork fabrication solutions, committed to delivering excellence in every project are well known for projects in the Railway, Highways and Construction Industry, working alongside various Tier 1 Contractors. Due to their consistent grwoth and expansion, they're now looking for a Plater/Welder to join them.
This is a full-time role paying £17 - £18 per hour DOE with with only 39 hours per week Monday to Friday!
Successful applicants MUST BE skilled in Multi Run + Fillet Welding!
Job duties include:
- Perform fillet welds from 6mm right up to 100mm.
- Carry out butt welds on plate thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 100mm.
- Execute multi-run welding to a consistently high quality and a neat standard.
- Work from technical drawings, ensuring all fabrications meet strict specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
The type of candidates they're looking for:
- Proven experince of heavy fabrication and steel welding
- Ability to produce neat, structurally sound multi-run welds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
