You will be managing an existing territory. The role is 75% Account Management 25% new business generation.
As the Workwear Business Development Executive duties will include:
- Maximise sales revenue within your designated territory.
- Achieve annual sales targets
- Set plans in place and initiate those plans regarding the future growth of the area.
- Ensuring customers always receive a high level of service
- Good administration and record-keeping maximising efficiency and service and minimise errors and credit notes
- Following through on all opportunities
- Establishing strong sustainable business relationships with customers in the designated area
- Conduct product training and joint end-user calls as and when appropriate.
- Advise on POS solutions in-store locations, fit, and merchandise.
- Good communication with managers, customers, and the internal support team
- Seek and open new quality accounts.
- Produce update reports at regular intervals.
- Regularly update range of knowledge including technical specifications
- Maintain knowledge of competitors
- Ensure up to date knowledge of local customer base and market trends and conditions
- Responsible for maximising sales margins and revenue whilst following Company procedures
- Quick return of company credit card expenses
- Where possible focus on reducing costs of accommodation and travel.
The Successful Candidate desired skills include:
- Have a proven record of field and account management and business development experience
- Have extensive experience and understanding of corporate, industrial clothing and workwear markets
- Have knowledge of corporate/PPE/workwear wholesale and distribution markets
- Have outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Be organised and able to manage own workload
- A self-starter and motivated
- Be computer literate
- Ideally be based in the Central Scotland or Northeast
- Be a natural entrepreneur
- Able to forge successful working relationships with customers to maximise sales opportunities
