Job Title:Domestic Electrician
Pay Rate: £15.00 to £20.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Domestic Electricianto carry out installation, maintenance, servicing, and repairs of electrical systems in domestic Wakefiled, West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and test electrical installations in line with current wiring regulations

Maintain, repair, and replace electrical circuits, consumer units, and undertake full property rewires
-
Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety legislation and company policies
-
Respond to electrical faults in both occupied and vacant properties
-
Take part in out-of-hours call-out rota as required
-
Follow instructions from team leaders and scheduling teams to meet service standards

Complete relevant paperwork and compliance documentation as required
Qualifications & Certifications (Essential):
-
City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent 2394 & 2395) – Inspection and Testing
-
City & Guilds 2382 – 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (or later equivalent)

Installation Certificate 2360 / 2351 or NVQ Level 3 with Part 2

Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
-
City & Guilds 2393 – Part P
-
City & Guilds 2377 – PAT Testing

Asbestos Awareness training
Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a domestic electrical role

Time-served apprenticeship preferred
-
Ability to test, fault-find, and install in residential settings
-
Good understanding of risk assessments, method statements, and personal safety

Comfortable using basic IT systems and completing electronic reports
