Job Title:Domestic Electrician
Pay Rate: £15.00 to £20.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Domestic Electricianto join our team in Lowdon, Nottingham. This role involves the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of electrical systems in domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and test electrical installations in domestic properties in line with current wiring regulations

Maintain, repair, and replace electrical circuits and consumer units, including full rewires
-
Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and company policies
-
Respond to electrical faults in both occupied and unoccupied properties
-
Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota as required
-
Follow instructions from supervisors and scheduling teams to meet service targets
-
Complete relevant paperwork and compliance documentation accurately
Essential Qualifications & Certifications:
-
City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent 2394 & 2395) – Inspection and Testing
-
City & Guilds 2382 – 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (or newer equivalent)
-
C&G Installation Certificate 2360 / 2351 or NVQ Level 3 with Part 2
-
Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications:

City & Guilds 2393 – Part P
-
City & Guilds 2377 – PAT Testing

Asbestos Awareness certification
Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a domestic electrical role

Time-served apprenticeship preferred
-
Confident in fault-finding, testing, and installations in residential properties

Familiar with method statements, risk assessments, and health & safety best practices
-
Comfortable using IT systems to complete reports and documentation
