Venatu Recruitment are happy to announce that an industry leading client of ours based in Peterborough are now looking for a Elec Biased Maintenance Engineer to join them at Peterborough site as soon as possible! They specialsise, and are leading figures, within the Insulated Glass systems industry and the only the UK's leading company in this field, but the largest insualted glass manufacturer in Europe too! They have been at the forefront of the indsutry and pride themselves on being the best in the business demonstrated by the great name and track record in the industry! Due to their consistent growth, they're now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their night shift as soon as possible!
This is a full-time position paying £46,300 salary with a very attractive shift allowance on top!
Working hours are 10PM - 6AM Sunday - Thursday.
Job duties include:
- Working closely with the production team to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all maintenance is conducted in advance to avoid production disruption.
- Working collaboratively with the engineering team, supporting and identifying means of improving plant productivity.
- investigating and establishing the causes of all breakdowns and machinery speed losses and record any repairs to ensure recurrent faults can be recognised.
- Completing PPMS and RPMS
- Maintennace, insepction and repairs of both mechanical and electrical plant and machinery on site.
- Working on mechanical machinery such as drive train systems, rollers, gearboxes, shafts, pneumatics, and some hydraulics.
- Working on electrical machinery such as single and three-phase systems, servo motors and AC motors, sensors, and various control systems.
They type of candiate they're looking for:
- Multi Skilled prefereably with an Electrical bias.
- NVQ Level 3 qualified of equivalent qualificaitons or Time served!
- Experienced in working on single and three-phase systems, servo motors and AC motors, sensors, and various control systems.
- Experienced in working on drive train systems, rollers, gearboxes, shafts, pneumatics, and some hydraulics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
