We are currently seeking a Time Served Manual Lathe Turner Machinist to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Rotherham, easily commutable from Barnsley or Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist looking for stable, long-term employment in a supportive and skilled team environment.
The Role of a Manual Lathe Turner Machinist
You’ll be working on a variety of manual lathes, producing precision components to exacting standards. This role would suit someone with a strong background in manual turning, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)

Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm (early finish)

Part-time hours will also be considered

Requirements of a Manual Lathe Turner Machinist

Proven experience as a manual lathe turner Machinist

Time-served engineering background (apprenticeship or equivalent)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
