Role Overview of a Welder Fabricator:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Welder Fabricator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with MIG / MAG / Stick welding, with the ability to work from technical drawings and handle heavy fabrication work. Experience with hardfacing welding is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities of a Welder Fabricator:

Perform MIG, MAG, and Stick welding to high standards

Carry out heavy fabrication tasks from technical engineering drawings

Operate relevant machinery, tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
-
Undertake hardfacing welding processes (preferred but not essential)

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Perform quality checks on completed work
-
Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements of a Welder Fabricator:

Proven experience in MIG, MAG, and Stick welding

Ability to read and interpret technical fabrication drawings

Experience with heavy-duty fabrication
-
Hardfacing experience is a significant bonus

Good understanding of health & safety procedures
-
Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to work under minimal supervision

Weekdays and Saturdays paid at x1.5, Sundays x2
