Assistant Service Manager - Automotive Dealership (Crewe)
Location: Crewe
Salary: £35,000 OTE (up to £41,000)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm
Saturdays on a rota basis
Are you an experienced Service Advisor or Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career? We're on the lookout for a confident and capable Assistant Service Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy dealership in Crewe.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team where you'll be helping to deliver excellent customer service, drive performance, and support the Service Manager in all aspects of the department. It's a hands-on role with real responsibility - ideal for someone who enjoys both leadership and customer interaction.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting in the daily management of the service department
- Supporting and mentoring the service team to achieve targets
- Ensuring a smooth, efficient customer experience from booking to handover
- Monitoring workshop loading and performance
- Handling any escalated customer concerns in a professional manner
- Working closely with the Service Manager to improve processes and performance
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a senior Service Advisor or Assistant Manager role within the motor trade
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A solid understanding of service department operations
- A proactive and professional approach to customer service
- Confident using dealer management systems
- A full UK driving licence
